PovClipse direct color editor

The PovClipse editor features a special dialog allowing specifying a color in a visible way.

If the cursor is placed on a color statement ("rgb[f|t|ft] <...>", the angle brackets have to be present!), either the popup menu or the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+C can be used to open the direct color editor:
Direct color editor
If the color statement is not valid the dialog does NOT open!

The color editor is initialized with the values from the color statement below the cursor. The color statement is recognized if the cursor is between the "r" from a rgb / rgbf / rgbt / rgbft keyword and the closing ">" angle bracket.

If there is no color statement below the cursor the direct color editor opens with default values.

The radio buttons in the "Type" group specify the kind of color statement.
The "Filter" value is only visible if the "rgbf" or "rgbft" color type is selected.
The "Transmit" value is only visible if the "rgbt" or "rgbft" color type is selected.

The color can be changed by clicking on the color field. A second color chooser dialog opens, allowing to select a new color:

The scene code is only changed if the color editor dialog is closed using the "OK" button.
The rgb(f/t/ft) keyword and the color definition between the angle brackets "<" and ">" are replaced.
If there was no rgb(f/t/ft) below the cursor the actual text selection is replaced by the new generated color statement.
If the color editor dialog is closed using other means the scene code is NOT touched!
